Dr. Rosenfeld

After graduating in 1984 from Columbia University Dental School, Dr. Rosenfeld completed a general practice residency at Sea View Hospital on Staten Island. For 25 years, he has been privileged to bring contemporary, comfortable dental care and innovative technology to the families in his care.

Dr. Rosenfeld is a vested member of the dental profession. He holds membership with:

A Bay Shore native and Islip High School graduate, Dr. Rosenfeld and his wife, Kellie, have two college-age children. The Rosenfeld family are proud residents of the East Islip community.

Dr. Fishman

Dr. Fishman, an associate at East Islip Dental Care, is a graduate of New York University College of Dentistry. Dr. Fishman also completed a residency at Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn. Her goal is to grow professionally through continuing education courses. Dr. Fishman is a newlywed who loves to play piano and salsa dance.

Kellie, Office Manager
Kellie and Dr. Rosenfeld, her husband of 28 years, have painstakingly designed the new office to meet patients’ desires for convenience, safety, and comfort. Kellie uses her skills as a writer to create Dr. Rosenfeld's ad copy. She has also been published in local newspapers and a national magazine. Her diverse background includes compensation analyst, personnel administrator, and teacher. Kellie has a BA in Sociology from Indiana University and a Masters in Education from Dowling College. She and Dr. Rosenfeld have a son in graduate school and a daughter away at college.

Front Desk Staff

Michelle, Office Coordinator
We are extremely happy that Michelle Adames has joined our practice as the Office Coordinator. She has been in the dental field for 11 years and is responsible for the overall flow of the office. As the one who makes financial arrangements, her goal is to make dental care affordable for all patients. She loves to see the “before and after” of cosmetic work. Michelle is a newlywed who loves to sing and dance in her free time. Sometimes she can even be found humming along to the satellite radio that plays throughout our office.

RoseMarie (Ro), Patient Coordinator
Ro will treat you as an old friend when you walk into our office, whether you are a new patient or a patient for the last ten years. She is an experienced Patient Coordinator. Ro is responsible for making sure our patients feel comfortable. Coming from a large family, Ro is used to being around people. She also enjoys spending as much time as possible with her son. Ro doesn't consider coming to work as a chore. She loves being a key employee in an office where the staff works hard to provide the best possible dental care for all patients.

Dental Assistants

Barbara, Dental Assistant
Barbara has been an integral part of the office for many years. On any given day, you can find Barbara assisting Dr. Rosenfeld in the operatories. She is proud to be part of a Smile Team that has one goal in mind – helping patients feel better about their smile. Barbara and her husband, Matt, have two sons and a dog named Hershey. Her hobbies include spending time with her family, taking photos, and decorating her house.

Bianca, Dental Assistant
Bianca is a dental assistant who loves building relationships with our patients. In her free time, Bianca likes to go out to eat, dance, and spend time with her boyfriend. She also loves the beach in the summer.

Andrea, Dental Assistant
Andrea is a dental assistant at East Islip Dental Care who recently moved here from Connecticut. She has several years’ experience as a dental assistant, much of it in the area of pediatric dentistry. On her days off, Andrea loves to spend time with her family.

Hygienists

Shaune, Registered Dental Hygienist
Shaune, a registered dental hygienist with a degree from SUNY Farmingdale, is also certified to administer and monitor local infiltration anesthesia and nitrous oxide analgesia. She is the coordinator of our Soft Tissue Management program. She believes that each individual’s mouth is as different as their unique personality. Shaune encourages our patients to practice proper oral hygiene and take advantage of the restorative work that we provide.

Debbie, Registered Dental Hygienist
Debbie is a part-time dental hygienist at East Islip Dental Care. She graduated from Farmingdale State College and is certified in anesthesia and CPR. Debbie loves working with patients to achieve a healthy smile. Debbie and her husband have two daughters.
