Delta Dental Dentist – East Islip, NY
Delta Dental: Helping Patients Access Quality Dental Care
Having dental insurance benefits is a helpful tool that can assist in defraying some of the cost of dental cleanings, checkups, and restorative work. By focusing on preventive care, your dental insurance helps you avoid many bigger issues such as tooth decay, cavities, oral cancer, and periodontal (gum) disease.
Utilizing your dental benefits can help you consistently visit your dentists in East Islip for cleanings and checkups, which will save you time, money, and the stress of dealing with more complicated treatment procedures.
Delta Dental Coverage Availability & Fees
While your Delta Dental plan is unique to your own employer’s network, there are some factors that you can count on from your benefits.
- Your plan will cover preventative care appointments (up to two a year) at 100%. This means that there is no out-of-pocket cost to you when you visit East Islip Dental Care for your six-month cleaning and checkups.
- Minor restorative treatment such as tooth-colored dental fillings are typically covered at a percentage of around 70% to 80%.
- Major restorative treatment such as a dental crown or bridge is typically covered at around 50%.
